Conversational Chinese Malay (CCM) Programmes
A range of programmes and activities which aims to achieve our strategic thrust �C academic excellence and holistic development. The department and levels decide on the activities and programme catered to the pupils bearing in mind the vision and mission of the department. Vocabulary is taught with the text, provided resources, hand made resources and instructional materials.

Primary 1	Reading of stories conducted by teachers in class. Reading of stories conducted by parent volunteers during reading Mum programme weekly.	To improve literacy rate as reading is fundamental to acquire language proficiency. To expose pupils to different genre of reading. To further promote reading and enable pupils to enjoy reading
Primary 2
Primary 3	Storytelling by pupils and activities planned by teachers. Infusion of Thinking Skills during Guided Reading Programme in class.
Primary 4
Primary 5	Reading and reporting of newspaper article.

Primary 1 - 2	Chinese Calligraphy	To allow pupils to master the basic knowledge of Chinese Calligraphy and Ink Painting, to arouse their interests in Chinese Culture and Arts
Primary 3 - 6	Creative Writing Course	To train pupils for higher order thinking in composition writing. Pupils are able to write better and with creativity. To help pupils master the key techniques of writing an essay that is well-organised and relevant to a given theme.
Primary 3	Mother Tongue Cultural Camp	P3 Cultural Camp was organized on 26, 27 May 2008. This allowed pupils to appreciate their culture and traditional practices. To enrich their use of language through appreciation of culture, values and customs.
