Educational Trips

Shandong Trip

From 30th May to 7 June 2007, we brought 27 pupils to Shandong again. This time, our pupils stayed in the house of pupils in China. This is to foster their friendship and to experience family life beyond school life. We expect our pupils to learn how independent and mature the pupils in China can be and bring back good character traits and moral values to Singapore. We have also planned to allow pupils from Shandong to stay in the home of our pupils so that pupils can spend more time with one another and foster their friendship.

Activities / Programmes

To develop deeper appreciation of culture, values and history and also to promote a deeper interaction and friendship between Singapore and Chinese Pupils in Qingdao Jiayuguan Primary School.

Our pupils participate in all their school activities i.e. the mass morning exercise, webpage design lesson, group discussions. Pupils also attended their English lessons and had a friendly Basketball match with their Basketball team. Through such activities, pupils' awareness of the China educational system are enhanced.
