Education is the process of developing and nurturing an individual, preparing him or her for work and life in society. An educated person is one who has a healthy zest for life. He or she has a passion for learning, is able to problem solve, lives and works well with others and contributes to the betterment of society.

Our teachers at Changkat Primary have identified 3 key thrusts for the years ahead - academic excellence to give our pupils a solid foundation for the next phase of education in secondary schools, holistic and character development to develop the child as a total person and staff as professionals to fulfill the mission and the purpose of our calling.

Our vision is for our pupils to be 'Learners with Passion, Citizens of Honour'. We want our pupils to enjoy learning, to be self directed in their learning and to be passionate in pursuing knowledge. We also want them to be honourable citizens of Singapore and the community they live in.

We have done well in the last few years. Both academic and non academic results are on an upward trend. This would not have been possible without the support of our stakeholders and parents. In school are many lives in the making. Each child is different, yet everyone is important and all have hopes and dreams for the future. It is our duty, here at Changkat Primary to guide and nurture each child and provide him or her with the opportunities to be the best that he or she can be.
